Our Library Staff
Allyssa Sepulveda - Coordinator of Library & Digital Media Services
Mrs. Sepulveda graduated CSU Stanislaus in 2009 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies. She had every intention of being an elementary school teacher; it wasn’t until she began working at the Modesto Library that she discovered her true passion was to be a Librarian. While attending San Jose State University, Allyssa continued working part time as a Library Assistant at the Modesto Library and the Stanislaus County Law Library. During the summer of 2011, Mrs. Sepulveda spent 10 weeks in Washington D.C. as an intern at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History Archives Center. It was an incredible experience to spend an extended amount of time in America’s capital surrounded by so much history. In December of 2011, Allyssa graduated SJSU with her Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science. She began working at the McCandless Delhi Library in 2012. When she is not working, Mrs. Sepulveda loves spending time with friends and family. She frequently visits Disney Land and enjoys pizza night with her husband, cat Hunter, and dog Leia.
Nikki Nightengale - Library Clerk
Mrs. Nightengale has worked at the Library since 2014. Nikki has worked in many positions with Delhi Unified School District including the District Accounting office, has subbed at many of our school sites in the cafeterias, libraries, and playgrounds. She enjoys interacting with the students, staff and faculty. Growing up, Nikki lived in many of the Southwestern states and knows the roads between Delhi, California and Longmont, Colorado (her ‘Hometown”) very well. Her spare time is often spent watching TV, reading, or family activities with her husband and three daughters.
Christina Castro - Merced County Library's Library Resource Technician II
Mrs. Castro joins us from the Merced County Library. Christina worked for ten years for the Livingston and Hilmar branches before she joined Delhi in 2016. She enjoys getting to know our public patrons as well as the students and faculty of our school. She hopes to encourage community members to make use of our library and all it has to offer. Christina also hopes to offer more programming such as story times, family movie events and crafting. In her spare time Christina likes to read, watch tv and spend time with her husband, two children and extended family.
